Lewis University will host its 2nd Annual Celebration of Scholarship on April 18th, 2013.  The Celebration of Scholarship is a showcase for research and scholarship conducted by our students, and it includes presentations, poster sessions, and creative works.

In addition to this year’s celebration, all poster participants will have their work evaluated by judges, and the top-rated participants will receive awards and recognition from the University.  To assist with the task of judging, we’re seeking the participation of our alumni and friends.  The times for the sessions are below:

Session 1              2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Session 2              4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Session 3              5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

We need BOTH lay judges and content expert judges.  To qualify as an expert judge, you should simply be evaluating posters that are either consistent with your degree from Lewis or with your professional experience since graduation.  We will try to match judges to posters within their area of expertise, but if there are no posters in your area at the time when you are judging, we still need your participation as a lay judge.  You may end up evaluating a poster outside your area of expertise – the posters and their presentations are meant to be accessible to a reasonably-informed lay person.
