Not only is Lewis’ undergraduate nursing program among the largest in the private sector for the state of Illinois - and producing graduates like Katherine Heniff ’76 and Stefanie (Jalloway) Aievoli, ’08 and ’13 who put their skills and knowledge to work at hospitals across the nation - but over the past three years, nursing graduates have consistently had exceptional pass rates well above the national average on the national nursing exam. This demonstrates that Lewis University is not only one of the largest, but also among the best nursing programs in the state and Midwest.

The College of Nursing and Health Professions is constantly looking to serve more qualified students and expand academic program offerings to ready graduates for opportunities in today’s job market, hence a new and beautiful 24,000 square foot addition to the College that includes three additional state-of-the-art simulation labs, high-fidelity simulated mannequins, four additional classrooms, additional faculty offices, conference rooms, and study areas for students.
