Lewis reaches record enrollment of nearly 6,500

Nearly 6,500 students enrolled at Lewis for the fall semester. At a time when many institutions are suffering from declining enrollment, Lewis continues to grow in terms of facilities, students, programs and recognition for quality academics.

Hear McCarthy speak on Reagan Presidency

Tim McCarthy '99 (Criminal/Social Justice) will be on campus Wednesday, November 2 to give a presentation entitled "An Eyewitness to a Presidency." McCarthy served as a Secret Service agent during the Reagan Presidency and was shot along with the President during the assassination attempt. Alumni are welcome to the event scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in DLS room 250. Read More
Signum Fidei Celebration a black-tie success!

Not to be outdone by the record enrollment numbers, guests at the Signum Fidei Celebration last month generously gave in record amounts, raising nearly $200,000 for the Lewis Mission Fund. Alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the University enjoyed an elegant evening at the Palmer House in Chicago, while honoring Lowell Stahl with the Signum Fidei award. Read More

The Lewis campus is transforming!

The new Lewis University Stadium, first floor library renovation, new elevator tower addition to the LRC building, major improvements to the Neil Carey Arena, and a storm detention area highlight some of the exciting construction projects completed this summer. And the newly expanded Science Center is on track to open in time for the second semester start in January 2012.
Lewis moves up in U.S. News rankings

Lewis University moved up two places in the rankings and earned the 41st spot among the Regional Universities (Midwest) in the 2012 edition of “Best Colleges” by U.S. News & World Report.  Read More
