  1.    Gwendolyn Young ’13 (Master Arts Organizational Leadership)
Learn to Lead: Five Ways to Create Future Leading Ladies
Individuals will identify the five most effective ways to educate and empower young women in our society today to become strong leaders for the next generation.  Each participant will leave with tangible tips and strategies that can be implemented quickly with the young women in their networks and communities.
  2.    Sharon Rangel ’07 (Master Science Nursing & MBA) and Shawn Tyrrell ’78 (BSN)
Mentoring: Knowledge is Useless Unless It Is Shared
Join recognized nursing leaders, Sharon Rangel and Shawn Tyrrell, as they explore a fresh look at mentoring as a vehicle for success.  Shawn and Sharon will lead a dynamic dialogue designed to enhance the use of mentors in the ever changing professional work environment. Participants will have a chance to learn from each other. They will identify ways to ensure effective relationships with mentors, create opportunities to become effective mentors of others, and eliminate roadblocks to the use of mentors.  See why mentoring continues to be a necessity in today’s challenging environment.

This session is dedicated to helping you identify obstacles that are getting in the way of what you really want for your work and life.  We will share proven coaching strategies to help you clarify what you need more and less of so that you can truly thrive.  We’ll look at new perspectives, or “mind shifts,” to help you create your desired life, especially in terms of work-life balance, your next career path, or improved relationships.  You'll arrive at your destination sooner by joining us for this fun, interactive, and worthwhile session.

OUT AND ABOUT:  The What, Why and Where for Women. How to Network Effectively.
This session will address aspects of networking and community involvement.  Exchange of experiences and ideas will be encouraged to develop creative ways for women to achieve leadership roles utilizing personal and business relationships.
