Lewis University recognized seven members of the community with the De La Salle Award during a special ceremony on Sunday, April 14, 2013.Award recipients include The Honorable Chrystel L. Denny established a $100,000 endowment in Father Spiess’ name to further the University’s focus on business ethics.

John and Cindy Cumbee of Frankfort have graciously committed to a $100,000 endowed scholarship to aid Lewis students with tuition. Cumbee, ’78 and ’80, an entrepreneur with two degrees from Lewis credits his success to the education he received.
