Mock Interviews – Interviewers Needed
Prior to the networking event, LUNAN will be sponsoring mock interviews for interested graduating seniors and alumni beginning at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to volunteer to facilitate a mock interview, please contact Joe Volin ’08 at email@example.com or (815) 836-5472.
Nursing Alumni Needed for Volunteer Opportunity
The College of Nursing and Health Professions is in need of nursing alumni to help current students in their simulations. Volunteers are needed to serve as voice actors for simulations in the traditional, accelerated, and graduate programs. Voice actors will be reading from scripts during the simulations and will have the support of nursing faculty during the simulations.
Alumni are needed during the following dates and times:
- February 3, 2015: 8 - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 - 4 p.m.
- February 4, 2015: 12 - 5 p.m.
- February 5, 2015: 8 - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 – 4 p.m.
- March 10, 2015: 8 - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 – 4 p.m.
- March 11, 2015: 12 - 5 p.m.
- March 12, 2015: 8 - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 – 4 p.m.
- March 18, 2015: 12 - 4 p.m.
- March 26, 2015: 6 - 10 p.m.
- April 9, 2015: 6 - 9 p.m.

Lewis University College of Nursing and Health Professions is offering a Study Abroad opportunity in Greece, from May 31 through June 10, 2015. This travel study trip will focus on environmental and cultural characteristics of Greece and the relationship to healthcare trends, healthcare delivery systems, and the profession of nursing. Nursing education, nursing roles and career options, healthcare delivery systems, and healthcare trends will be explored and discussed in comparison to US counterparts. Emphasis will be on respect for human and environmental diversity and the impact on health, illness, and the provision of nursing care. Learn more about the trip to Greece, and how you can attend!
