Fill out the Alumni Board Application

What is the Alumni Board?

The Alumni Board leads the Alumni Association in helping to advance the University Mission by volunteering, networking, and giving. The Alumni Board also represents the Alumni Association at various events and activities within the University.

Collectively, the Alumni Board determines ways to engage alumni with Lewis University as donors and volunteers.

The Commitment of Members:

Each board member commits to giving financially to Lewis each year- with the goal to give at the President’s Circle level ($1,000+).

Each board member commits to attending at least 3 of the 4 board meetings which take place once a quarter around September, December, February, and May. Board Members actively contribute ideas on ways to engage alumni and execute plans.

Each board member attends alumni events and activities as their schedule allows – at least one networking event and one volunteer event a year. Each member is committed to spreading the word about alumni events and activities and also getting other alumni involved.

Onboarding Process:

  1. After reviewing the above roles and commitments, complete the Alumni Board application;
  2. Interview with the Alumni Board President;
  3. Attend the next Alumni Board meeting;
  4. Alumni Board votes on new members;
  5. Complete your commitment form;
