"Black at Lewis" Welcome Reception

 

Lewis University is proud to launch its first annual commemoration of Black August, a designated time to honor the long tradition of Black freedom fighters, especially those incarcerated for their resistance to state violence inside and beyond the walls of the U.S. prison system.
Please join us for this free event that will offer light refreshments and a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate Black August together.
